| Both the luxury en-suite accommodation and the restaurant are located in a converted 16th century barn, that adjoins the historic village pub; ‘The Pelican Inn’. This former traditional coaching inn, will add a distinct but complementary character to your visit. Here,there is an excellent range of bar meals that can be enjoyed by an open fire in the winter months or a delightful garden in the spring and summer. The family owned establishment is renowned for its large variety of wines, beers, malts and traditional real ales. It offers a warm, friendly and personal welcome and can promise an enjoyable stay! • The luxury, non smoking accommodation has recently been awarded three diamonds from the East of England Tourist Board; however we are currently seeking an upgrade to four. • Each room provides; Tea and coffee making facilities / a colour television / D.V.D player / towels, hairdryer and heated towel rails / free parking and free fishing facilities at Tacolneston moat • Breakfast is served from 7.30 – 9.30am on weekdays and 8.30 – 10am at weekends, breakfast includes; juices, coffee, toast, fruit, cereal and a full traditional English. The village of Tacolneston is situated approximately eight miles from Norwich City centre, on the B1113 road from Norwich to Attleborough. • Approximately 5 miles away from the Hartford Bridge Park and Ride service. • 3 miles from the historic town of Wymondham, with its old ruins and Abbey. • 8 miles from Norwich international Airport / The UEA /Norwich Union / The Football ground / Riverside Bars / Theatres / Cinemas / The Sainsbury’s Art Centre and The New Millennium library at the Forum. • 15 miles to the Norfolk broads and costal visits • 3 miles to A11 – one and a half hours to London • With driving distance to Banham Zoo, The Otter Trust, Bressingham Garden Centre, Motor racing at Snetterton, Golf at Dunston Hall and some excellent walks and cycle paths.
