Your hosts, Linda and John’s award winning service offers all the discerning guest may require. Whether your visit to St. Albans is for business, family, or pleasure we will endeavour to make your stay a truly enjoyable experience. The name ‘Fleuchary’ reflects Linda's heritage, being the name of her Grandparents' croft in the Highlands of Scotland. Hospitality and kindness to strangers is very much part of the Highland culture and is what we now offer in our essentially English home in the heart of Hertfordshire. ‘Fleuchary House’ is conveniently, but quietly, located being both 5 minutes walk from both the historical Cathedral Quarter with it’s many restaurants, shops and bars and the main rail line station with it’s fast and frequent service to London (20 mins). Each of our three rooms is scrupulously clean, beautifully appointed and fully equipped with excellent quality furnishings throughout. Wireless broadband internet connection is freely available. Our full English Breakfasts are renowned. However, we happily cater for all dietary/allergy requirements with seasonal fruit salads, Greek yogurt and honey and freshly baked breads being firm favourite alternatives, not too mention porridge. “An excellent standard of standard of hospitality and guest care….” the English Tourist Board upon assessment to 4 Stars and Silver Award of our service and facilities in December 2006.
