| Dating in part from the 17th century, this house has a truly intimate atmosphere. This is the oldest house in the village of Lisdoonvarna. John and Martina are your hosts at this country inn hotel, where the Sheedy family have welcomed guests for over 300 years. The hotel's location in Lisdoonvarna, halfway between Killarney and Connemara and one hour from Shannon Airport, makes it an ideal base to explore the Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Aillwee Caves, Doolin and Lahinch. There is much to do in the Burren and the library is the perfect place for relaxing and planning your day. A warm personal service, with local knowledge of the region, is offered to help make your stay in the area pleasant and refreshing. John Sheedy's cooking, using local fresh ingredients, has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes and the Georgina Campbell - Best Breakfast in Munster 2004 award.
